Very good pick up.

Me thinks BMW are watching this thread.

Not saying it won't happen. Just saying that it's all still speculation, wrapped in hearsay, and covered with a heaping helping of conjecture.
August for Australia normally equals earlier for the row.

You might think its still speculation. Some of us might know a little more. That's ok though. Don't confuse wishful thinking with confirmation. The fact is the adv is confirmed but the format is not.

Simple enough I think

The F800GSA on the BMW website is pretty convincing for me.

Don't know how full of shit he is or not, but I can't see why they wouldn't do it, given the popularity of the F8.

I personally wouldn't be interested in one, but I think it's be a neat option.

I also heard a mention of it at a dealer. Sounded like bigger tank and possibly better suspension

I like the idea of better suspension. Bigger tank will make it into a hog. Too bad if that is the case (but that's what I hear as well).

How? A larger tank doesn't add much weight by itself. You can always keep weight down by not filling the tank up.

Right, but it will get fat. Why people want to ride with 300 miles worth of gasoline on their bikes? I would bet 200 miles is plenty good for 99% of the times people go out on a ride.

I'm with you, these two new KTMs are the new bikes to beat on the adventure segment. Suspension, tubeless, power, light weight. They must be fun machines.
