Look ok unless you get pretty close. Definitely a textural patina. You can kill the brightness with a mild vinegar solution or just wait for them to dull.

$65+ shipping for the pair. International shipping is costly. USPS Money order preferred. (I don't do paypal and checks need to clear).

Looking for a set of Krausers and mounts for a R100RS. Anyone have a set they might be willing to part with?

Looking for R75 top end

I'm looking for an R75 top end pre 9/1975 or more specifically has a 97mm base OD for an ill advised r60 conversion project. Also seeking carbs for an R75 to match.

Hoping to find something in good condition- willing to have bored/honed but the less work required the better.

Willing to buy jugs/head separately but the more complete the better. As far as price? I don't know- depends on what you have...

I saw a nice fairly complete set on ebay but it's 99mm OD- also wondering how hard it would be to have that machined down to fit- any recommendations?

If you've already got the cylinders, I wouldn't think it would be all that hard to mount them on a face-plate and turn them down to suit your engine case. The real time would probably be changing the chuck to a face-plate then indicating each cylinder. The actual turning wouldn't be much time at all. You would probably have to do the de-burring and blow out the stud holes.

R60--> r75

Disston,

Since I've already read a few threads on here about it I didn't want to bore everyone with a new one about this type of conversion.

I am definitely aware of the different cam profile but I've heard mixed responses in terms of whether or not it is fruitless to just swap top ends. I'm now under the impression that you will end up with a bike that is R75 "ish" if you just the top swap and leave the original camshaft. At this point I'm willing to be a guinea pig and find out. I could always swap the cam after the heads if necessary or at worst go back to the old r60 top...

So, anyone have some parts?

Rear hub

I'm in desperate need of a rear hub that will fit a '74 R60, mine kinda shattered alot while I was replacing the bearings. Stupid hammer, I blame it for my misfortune.

My father-in-law's 78 r100rs 'Belgian Police':

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3781809066.html

It's currently in my garage, and available for show/test rides on weekends and afternoons with cash in hand and M endorsement.

I've personally been riding her to work (30mi round trip) about once a week over the past 2months and she rides great. I've taken her on some longer rides here and there to see how she performs on the highway, and to get a better feel for Airheads since I was in the market for one myself. She rides amazingly, and really just needs a little cosmetic TLC to make her perfect.

My father-in-law can be contacted via the info he listed in the ad, or feel free to contact me directly through the forum. Happy to help facilitate! Thanks.

Look back one page. I think Plaka had a half way nice pair for not too much money too. Don't remember them being grabbed up yet. Maybe. These go for twice what he is asking, really.
