Cool video tuffstuff! Thanks for sharing.

So, you weren't worried about the camera falling off the wing? Did you use a suction cup mount or???

I was worried about losing m go pro but the pilot said he had seen it done before so I figured it was worth the risk. I used one of the sticky pads that come with the go pro and it worked perfect! We were a little worried about leaving a paint chip when we used a knife to pull it off, but even that didn't happen.

Hey Tuffstuff, if your classes are in Dinwiddie, send me a PM when you head that way!

May Moto Movie night

Late May is the Isle of Man TT so next Wednesday come on out to the Moto Saloon to enjoy some great food, company and libations while watching a documentary or two on this historic and absolutely bonkers race. We'll drop the screen and fire up the projector around sunset (8pm or so).

Hey Tuffstuff - why don't blind people skydive?

Because it scares the crap out of the dog.

***for sale***

2013 Honda CRF 250l dual sport. New sprockets changing the gearing from 14/40 (stock) to 13/42. FMF Powercore 4 muffler on it. New handlebars and handlebar grips. Yoshimura fender eliminating kit with LED light. Little over 1,000 miles on it. Fuel injected, chain driven, and electric start. No major damage just minor scratches. Clean, rides better then stock because of the modifications. Only looking to sell this bike so I can get a touring bike. Please email me if you are interested. Will include a helmet, gloves, honda book bag, a rear luggage rack, all the original parts, and a motorcycle cover if purchased. Asking $4500 but am willing to negotiate. photo 2013-05-01_16-47-45_389_zps01eea3f7.jpg photo 2013-05-01_16-48-09_854_zps30a46153.jpg photo 2013-05-01_16-48-58_739_zpsd5d944b2.jpgemail me at kmjinks@yahoo.com

Just saw this posted on the Coastal Canoe club message board. I think this was posted a few months back but it hasn't gone away.

http://www.madisonco.virginia.gov/nationalpark.php

http://www.vctu.org/2013/04/18/tu-me...rapidan-river/

Quote:
The county has been contacting federal and state representatives to drum up support for the entrance. Marcia Woolman, who is a member of the Rapidan Chapter and the Virginia Council executive committee, says, “Rumors are that they want a formal entrance onto Skyline Drive as in a toll gate. When speaking with others, including park personnel, it is toned down to, ‘We just want to take small tour buses up through the park and wildlife management area.’ However, it seems fairly certain that if the gate is ever opened, usage will grow significantly.
Small tour buses? WTH is a "small" tour bus? Can you imagine how wide they will have to build that road to support two "small" tour buses to safety pass one another?
Just what we need along the Rapidan, a widened paved road with a lot more people using the road.

I hope this gets shot down.

Buses? We don't need no stinking buses!

It would be funny to see them trucked in "cattle trailers" like we rode in in basic training. (Harmony Church, Ft Benning, GA '86)
