Fall Riding in SW Montana

Hello! I'm new to the ADV forums, although I've been a lurker for quite some time. I've ridden a TM300 Enduro since I was in high school, and now I have the fever for a real cross country adventure bike. I'm torn between a KTM 950/990ADV or a 650 VStrom. Anyway, I decided it's time to give something back to the forum and post my first ride report. Here goes nothing!

Last October, I spent the weekend with my parents in a cabin in SW Montana. It was my Dad's birthday and we spent it hiking and enjoying ourselves at a friends cabin.

Winter was rapidly approaching in the high country

After a relaxing weekend I still had a few days before I needed to be back in Denver. I decided it was time to get the TM out and do some riding. I set off for a nearby ghost town thats has a ton of cool riding nearby. But first, a pictures of my bike.

This is some really good stuff. I love riding around in the hills finding old ghost towns, mines and equipment. You ran across some good ones! Hope you keep riding and finding places like this to share here. Thanks for sharing, sure enjoyed the pictures.

Thanks for all the support! I'm glad you guys enjoyed the pics!
While I was adjusting my chain last week, I broke the chain tension adjustment bolt. As soon I get it fixed I'll do so more riding and post more pics!

And I just somehow managed to delete my entire first post, awesome. I was just trying to edit the name of the thread as it should have read "fall riding in SW Montana." Then poof, gone. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I got it fixed, I just have to wait for a mod to approve my repost as I'm a noob (obviously)!
