Lisbon to Oporto - 2013

Long time lurker, hoping to get some help.

Can someone please suggest a nice route from Lisbon to Oporto? Looking at max length of about 7 hours, nice winding roads, minimal expressway. Will be taking my significant other on the ride, riding a GS1200.

Guess the best route is by the coast-line, no worries about time, you'll make it in under 5 hours.

Or... you could go up untill "Abrantes" and there take the N2 (national road 2), which is a national landmark up until "Vila Real" and then turn left (west) for Porto. THis will take you the best of those 7 hours but it will be totally worth it!
