Several centuries ago, I had a brand new Yamaha TT500 with just such a beautiful aluminium tank.
Dented it with my knee on the first ride. Don't know what caused me the greatest agony: the sore knee or the sight of my beautiful tank - with a dent....

I remember the TT500 - a great bike. I have mixed feelings on riding mine offroad, but after I photo document it in its current condition, im going to ride it offroad and I know eventually it will go down. Its a dual sport and I made it to ride it like that, so I'll hope for the best - but expect the worst. I don't look forward to posting "those" pictures some day
