You're not leaving that in your carport, are you?

That belongs in your living room!

So today I rode in in anger for the first time since doing all the service work on it and man I am ever impressed with how it has changed from when I first got it. Its runs so much smoother now that the valves are done and the throttle bodies are synched. The buffeting is gone and I now cruise along in clean, almost quiet air thanks to all the screen work and winglets. The new seat is sheer heaven and the ergonomics are now well sorted and the bike fits me like a glove. Damn if I'm not starting to really love this bike!

Sorted the P3 lights, so now I have some rearward visibility. Never did figure out what was wrong, but now they work!

Shocks should be back from Ohlins next week . . .

Hey Botch, I scored a Russel Day Long set from one of the inmates here a couple of weeks ago. Sheer luxury for the fat bits that join me legs together.

That makes the left handlebar lights, comms, and cruise control. Yeah I know it ain't no good for rock crawlin but I don't do rock crawlin I do miles. LOTS and lots of miles. So no teasing the old guy who is just lucky enough to ride.

Did I mention lights?

I like my night to be day. The top are a wide flood at 3200 lumen each and the bottom are a pin-point spot at 1200 lumen.

Still waiting some parts before can finish wrapping the loom, and tying the wires.
can you tell us about your cruise control install, perhaps include pics of your install. i have been wanting to do that for a few years, just haven't had the balls to pull the trigger.

Thanks,
jb

i spent the day making custom wiring harnesses. cloth taped like stock. looking for molenx connectors tomorrow. i tin and solder all wires on the bike. so my installs take time. all connectors get waterproofed. i shadow the bikes wiring harness for wire runs to make sure rub points are extra protected.

oh, tomorrow is fab day for hid light brackets too.
thanks for the info
