hey hey thanks guys

Its really hard to make some riding clips somehwat interesting without doing a triple jump or something. Thats about an hour or two's worth of riding, and a LOT of footage of just nice, quiet woods, till a brief moment when a bike goes ripping through it :lol

I feel like i need there to be more ofa point, though, nad not just a five minute music video.

Beginnings, middles, and endings are the hardest part.

What you need is '80s music and cut-scenes of JETS

Thank you :)

You can have any color as long as it's black my friend. They've all been powder coated black but wouldn't be hard to mask it up and do some stripes/lettering.

Plenty left so don't fret also!

Stage, how do you corner your GS around a tight shitty blind gravelly corner? Do you lean the bike over or keep upright & slide the rear wheel around speedway style?

OK, I have thought about this and my answer is that (besides wishing I knew how to do it properly) I do a combo platter of the above. I lean the bike over, but keep my body mostly upright, and apply as much throttle as I can.

I dont hit nearly every one of them right, and some are way better than others. SOme areperfect and some go Way Wide.

To ride it properly I think is an aggressive task with lotsof body english, but with a concentration on smoothness. The highest compliments i have recieved were those that mentioned smoothness.

Eyes up and far intot he turn. Outside elbow very high.

I dunno if I have any good video. I have a bunch of crappy video that shows it

Cool thanks. I know it's hard sometimes to try to describe techniques. I've read & seen other advice on different bikes however the GS is a lot of mass heading into a corner - I'm not so worried when I'm on my DRZ as it will flick round pretty quick.

I'll head up into the forest & mark a tight corner on an open bit of land & practice.

Stay tuned - My next post will prob be asking where to buy new valve covers

BTW John & Ben are all go for Dakar - just waiting for some sponsorship money.
