Does riding it ~600 miles today count? I've got to say these bikes are even more capable then their legend claims. Hugely impressed with it.

Do the guards come with the shroud, or is it just the mesh ?

Earlier in the week I removed my stock GSA luggage mounts. I wanted then to disappear under those giant aluminum boxes. I sand blasted them and spritzed on a few coats on flat black Krylon. Looks pretty cool in my book. As soon as it stops raining I'll rinse the road grime off and snap a few pics. It's always dirty when you ride 365.

With the shrouds, you hand in your shrouds and they give you a new set with shrouds.

Do the stock cables / wires reach? Might end up doing this to my soon-to-be new R1200GSA. Time will tell, but it would be good to know before I try to install them and run into problems.

With a bit of work, yes! You might need to move the cables behind the fork tubes like I did.

I checked the app that tracks my mileage and expenses, to see how much I've ridden over the past 2 weeks, in prep for my Alaska trip...

According to my gas stops, I've ridden 2216 miles between April 26 and today; gotten gas 13 times; paid $291.72 for 69.57 gallons of gas; averaged 34.29 mpg fully loaded for motorcycle camping with my fat ass riding it; averaged 158.3 miles per day (although, some days I did not ride at all...); longest day was yesterday - rode from Napa, CA (hotel) to Hayward, CA (Adventure Designs) to San Francisco, CA (lunch with a friend and her boyfriend), back to Hayward, CA (install new tires - Heidenau K-60s and complete the rest of my shopping there) then rode home to San Clemente, CA... According to maps.google.com, all of that was 554 miles...

It's called Road Trip HD... IMO, it's very worth the cost. I have it on my iPhone and my iPad...

Baby's got some new shoes... I bought a set of Heidenau K-60 Scout tires from Adventure Designs in Hayward, CA, and had them install them...
