Steel Stampede CCR Vintage MX
Went out to Crooked River Ranch for the Steel Stampede Vintage Moto event. Saturday was trials (didn’t see that), Sunday was MX and I have a couple friends racing their pre - ’75 bikes so Professor and I rode our dual sports to spectate.
So many cool machines, wonderful bean oil aromas and noises from the 60’s and 70’s.
I think this is Dick Mann’s bike, he was there racing.
Had no idea about this. Thought it might be just a bunch of old junk limping around the track but that couldn’t further from the truthful reality - these guys haul ass serious!
Perfect temperature, the wind died down from Saturday and not a cloud in the sky.
Our buddy Niggles (all white helmet on jump) chasing down a Maico on his ‘69 BSA 441 Victor - go Steve!
That thing is a beast -
Very fun event, wish I still had the old Elsinore dang it!

Had an Elsinore 125, it only had one speed one time I blew the connecting rod right through the bottom of the case
Thanks for sharing those photos, great weekend for it!
