As ED tries to cause a fight.... Little does he know this is one of the truer statements he has made in recent history.

i'm not trying to start a fight , just voicing my opinion

my only issue with the gasser is the lack of a larger tank

all of my bikes are paid for

Best 300 motor? quite possibly. Have to ride a Sherco and Beta to compare but the IMHO the Gasser 300 motor is absolutely outstanding. To be the best it needs to lose about 30lbs of weight.

I will say right now at this moment I believe the Beta smokers in the race version are probably the best on the market. I would have one sitting in the stable instead of a gasser if I would have waited a year. GasGas fit & finish and QC doesnt appear to be on par with the Beta. They are beautiful bikes.

I suspect the Sherco 300 will be as good as or even better than the Beta. Shoot the Sherco 4 stroke is so nice if i had the spare cash I would pick one up and I dislike modern race 4 strokes very much... Very Very nice bike.

Its a good time to be shopping for an enduro bike, lots of great options available now, even in a crappy economy.

Really Ed with the right jetting I bet we can get 90 miles out of the stock tank, which isnt too bad.

I don't own a gasser so I couldn't say that without bias, but I must say, my sentiments exactly.

more than one person has told me they have over 200hrs on them and never had to open the engine

that with the handling makes for a good value

I was a raft guide for a while, the real hippy chicks are not as great as everyone thinks.

The Buffet at the Hutte' in Helvetia was excellent yesterday, but despite the awesome weather the place was almost empty just more food for us I guess

Went past Rella's and not a single car there either

Didnt see many bikes at all, a few cruisers here & there. Passed a TW on Turkey Bone.

Great day for a ride!

Was in Helvetia for the ramp supper last weekend and didn't see any other bikes in town then, either...Rode some great back roads between Pickens and Holly River.

Alan's 300, oh yea it is orange, has +220 hrs on it and he just opened it up and put a piston it. I believe that is a good service time.
