Yes, the Sherpa is like a motorized mountain bike. Probably too small for a big guy, and even for me it seemed small when I first bought it. But its a great travel bike if you can adapt to its limitations. You appreciate it more when heading straight up a rocky jeep trail or lifting it into a canoe.
