Finally got to use mine as its intended with a nice 320km ride. The aftermarket tank which I assumed was pretty big looks like it only holds just over 10L. :(



On the upside the Safari tank turned up yesterday so will fit that in the coming days - presume it should be straight fwd but one should never presume...

They can be fiddley to fit and turn the fuel pipe on your carby down so you can use all fuel in tank

maybe keep this one hidden then. this is one of the adv inmates iwho was n the vid sliding his DR into corners. apparently racing vintage mx bikes helps with wrestling the bush pig into corners like that...

I just picked up a countershaft seal retainer from my local dealer.
It is part No 24751-32E00 and is listed as a part for the 2013 DR650.
So it looks like it has been specifically manufactured for the DRs.
Cost from my dealer at Wauchope was $20.27.

All this talk of DR countershaft seal retainers are making me worried ...... How often do these things pop out ? Sounds like I might need one .
