Unfortunately, I'm being a total boring-butt for the return and trailering the newly-minted hack home instead of learning how to ride the "hard" way. Yeah, I'm trying to do this "right", but wouldn't it be a hoot if the bike didn't fit inside the toy hauler?

After that though, the world's my bitch!!
Nooo! Think of the rest of us. Think of the poor children that might never get to see the coast. think of humanity.....

Oh poop, now you're making me want to take this puppy all the way home!!

Dude ain't gonna like this idea I can guarantee that.

Just gotta add, I just clicked in the link on your sig line MOG and realized that your ride report was one of the ones that, a year ago, got me interested in sidecars to begin with. So I blame YOU for sending me down this road!!

You are welcome.
I hope you do that ride sometime though. Julie LOVED being on the right side of the rig while we rode south. She got a great view of the ocean the entire time.
There was so much to see on your coast. It seems that no matter how much time you have there never is enough time. Be safe and enjoy your new toy.

Haha well this puppy is destined to be MY rig so I don't anticipate much riding in the sidecar. Although my Dude'll get his share of practice, and if a particular section of road is super spectacular then I might give him the chance to drive me through it.

I'm super excited, but enough thread-jacking. Let's see some ride reports with sidecaristas!

Lol!! I asked the Dude and he said he has those days of so, dammit, he wants his road trip.

Now he's trying to convince me he should fly and ride - as in, ride my bike with me in the sidecar. Hmm, maybe he should ride in...what do you call side-pillion?

"Monkey"

And DO IT! You guys can trade off driving, and take your time, cuz your arms will get tired from using muscles you're not accustomed to.

+1,000,000 on the do it part. The stars are lined up.
I was slightly concerned about my arms prior to last year's trip. I'm 50 and in average shape and it was never an issue.
