I had to look this up, but you're right.

I see these sort of things running around town, but as you noted they are not legal.

Oddly if it had an electric motor vs the gas one it would be completely legal.
s. 316.003 – Definitions
(2) Bicycle – Every vehicle propelled solely by human power, and every motorized bicycle propelled by a combination of human power and an electric helper motor capable of propelling the vehicle at a speed of not more than 20 miles per hour on level ground upon which a person may ride, having two tandem wheels, and including any device generally recognized as a bicycle though equipped with two front or two rear wheels. The term does not include such a vehicle with a seat height of no more than 25 inches from the ground when the seat is adjusted to its highest position or a scooter or similar device.

Must be "$800 Old Honda Day" on the P-cola Craigslist

Never even heard of an MR50 before, but this '74 looks really clean:

This one's a '75--those old scramblers are super cool; if I had some spare money I'd be mighty tempted with this:

Laugh Mr 50

Honda MR 50's were cool. Only made them a couple of yrs. Yes, they are small. In '08 I bought a runner out of the back of someones truck at the parts store for $150 and took it to a Mid-Ohio Vintage National and sold it for $950 without spinning a wrench on it! My kind of deal!

That's a solid deal. The 360s are not as esthetically pleasing as the earlier 350s, especially the 71 "batwing" model, but those pipes are damn near worth $350.00 on their own.

I remember my dad telling me the 360 was a significantly more powerful motor than the 350; Dad said there was a lot more going on than a 10cc displacement increase. He bought a wrecked 360 in the early 80's and turned it into a Mad Max-lookin dualsport, he let me ride it when I was about 12 and I remember twisting the throttle to the stop and it felt like I hit Warp Factor Nine.

About 3 yrs after that Dad picked up a CR480 and I twisted the throttle on that, and the tank just about smacked me in the face. Then I became a Wheelie Addict.

Better than drugs
