I don't know if there is much difference between a 09 and a 12, but I'd like to see the pictures as you do the install. I'm in Italy on my way back to the states that's when I'll do the install. Pete

What about lighting conrollers such as the Skene 170?

The MM-10s look fantastic, I ordered a pair yesterday. Wondering if anyone has used the Skene Intelligent Lighting controllers with these and what your thoughts are.

I cant personally speak for the Skene controllers, but I do know that there are more than a few out there that have the MM10's connected using a Skene.

FWIW - we are working on a plugin for our harness that will pulse the lights in a set sequence. Its still in the testing/prototype phase and we hope to have it ready in 3 - 4 weeks. Price will be in the $20 - $25 range.

thanks,
-Brian

2005 Aprilia Tuono install complete!

So after looking at various possible mounting points, I finally decided on using the frame sliders.
It was pretty easy to grind a flat spot then mount the brackets.
I also installed the Skene Designs Intelligent controller referenced earlier.
The cool thing about the controller is that you can have multiple brightness settings, one for the switch "off" position, one for the switch "on" position and one for high beams active.
There is also an alert feature that gets invoked when you flash your high beams twice.

Anyway, I'm really impressed with the build quality of the Mondo Motors lights. The whole package is really well thought out. I haven't ridden with them yet, hopefully I don't irritate other drivers, these things get BRIGHT (and a bit glarey to be honest).

Off the frame sliders a pretty cool idea

Angle them properly and traffic won't be hindered at all.
