It's not me. My bike is Narcoleptic.
Research is what I'm doing, when I don't know what I'm doing.

Interesting, the best mileage I ever got on my bike (by far) was 180miles before the fuel light came on (usually get 150 before the light), and it was on a ride from Bend back down to Norcal. You guys must put something nice in the gas up there...

Tune ECU cable

I live in Alameda, have a TuneBoy cable and experience reading/writing maps. If you want to swing by and have your map downloaded so the wizards here can take a look, as well as reading any trouble codes- just send me a PM.

The bike smells like gas when it runs so I have a feeling its running rich -but it still hauls ass so it runs well. I would love to re map it but don't have a PC nor do I want to go through the hassle of installing windows on a mac/I'm super noob so i don't want to f-up the bike either. I live close to the guy who does Tune ECU in San Rafael CA but I'm concerned he will charge an arm and leg for just leaning it out at critical points/don't really wan the wear and tear of dyno testing on the bike. Any suggestions/ people who have used Tune ECU privately in the bay area? I guess I'm really looking for guidance. Thanks!

used '08 990S- suck ass mileage

Bike only had about 2,500 miles when I picked it up. Previous owner put Akropovic titanium slips, changed rear from 42 to 45 teeth. I ran out of gas on the Fwy at just under 120 miles. Im gonna put stock sprocket back to 42. whats the cost to change the map in SoCal area and who would you go to? Lior? Malcomb's, ESP?
Yes, I have a truck. No, I won't help you move. I'm going riding!
