That's how everyone feels at first WTF did I think I'd like this for ? It's learning something new connected to motorcycling though entirely different.

The Tiger looks good I'm a tiny bit jealous I've always wanted a Tiger and a chair to paint a Union Jack on.
Although prepared for martyrdom, I preferred that it be postponed.

I LOVE it!

I had the same concern. On the gravel mountain road, I was able to enjoy the scenery without worrying about staying upright.

YAY!!! Now I'm super excited because that's exactly why I'm getting one!! I want to go offroad and am a big wuss when it comes to falling. I'd just hate to get it then think "This isn't for me at all".

Lol Drone sure put you through your paces with that puppy! When do you officially head east, after Chelan?

Got a little video for the Moosey Fan Club. To set the stage, Moosey picked up her rig at DMC around 9:30am. We added about 50lbs of ballast then ran up and down some residential streets at 25mph making easy lefts and rights. Ramped it up to 35-40mph on our way to Krain's Korner for breakfast. After chowing down some omelettes, we spent about two hours on paved twisties marked 35-45mph. No traffic, so we rode at whatever pace felt good.

By 2pm, Moosey thought the Tiger needed some mountain air, so we headed south on Highway 410 to Greenwater at 55-60mph, took a right at Forest Road 70 and headed up to find the snow line.

This may not look too daring, but remember this is DAY ONE of Moosey's new life as a sidecar adventurer.

Here we go (less than 2 minutes long-be sure to click on 480p)--

I think she's off to a great start! Confident and in control! And definitely STYLIN' IT with her yellow Nolan and matching Roadcrafter. By the way, that's no Go Pro Hero camera there. That's me holding my little Panasonic Lumix in my left hand with the button set to "movie" mode. Professional videographer I am not.

Drone, looks like Moosey's hooked! Thanks for taking her out and eating her dust to get those videos. For a first timer she looked perfectly composed and smooth as silk.

Moosey, think you got me day-dreaming about Tigers now. I really like the looks of that hack. Can you access your right pannier O.K.?

I almost forgot; Moosey looks so good Drone better get her back for that CDT ride he's planning. She'd never want to go back to the flatlands after that. My wife is from Cumberland, and I'm from Red Wing, so we've been through Spooner a lot when we were younger. Now we have another reason to go back to the midwest...to visit another hack driver. Whoohoo!

Nicely done all three of you and Drone not bad video at all ! Maybe she'll send you a nice Aerostich jacket and you'll be as stylish as your rig and Kirby. But I envy those tree's you PNW people have.DB

Lookin good! The matching Tiger stripes are very cool!

Less than two months before Barley and I head out to the PNW. I've heard rumors the trees and the mountains are a tad larger than what we have back here in Vermont!

And I might even see other hacks along the way; they're pretty rare out here.

Shoot!

I spent last night in Spokane at a friend's house...

You and your wife have place to stay when you head back!

The right pannier opens 6-8 in.

I'm holed up MT with a sixer of Big Hole Headstrong Pale Ale.

Beautiful ride from Spokane thru the mountains.

Every gas stop there was someone lurking by the store and only approached when I put my earplugs in and my helmet on to start talking....

When eating, I watched several people walking around the rig taking photos.

I'm luvin' it!!!

Moosey, if you are ever in Spokane, PLEASE LET US KNOW. We'll pick up some Leiny's, a pound or two of cheese curds and talk Wisconsin until the cows come home.

I am so glad that you are having a fun trip back to Flatlandistan. Drive safe and we'll give you a PM the next time we're heading "home" to see the family.
