If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

You captured it beautifully!

When Mrs. Samthg and I were there 2 years ago, we toured around with almost no one in the place. Toward the end of our visit there was a fellow roaming around by himself. After talking with an employee in the gift shop, he informed me that the fellow by himself was indeed Mr. Barber.

Is it true that what is displayed is only about 1/2 of the inventory?

I sure liked that sandcast...

Yep, I love being local. Barbers MSP is great and even the roads around the area are nice!

FYI, if you come to one of the 4 major events WERA races, AMA races, vintage festival, Indy GP and purchase a museum ticket, they let you go down to the restoration level

Question

Excellent photography....I'd be interested to hear what camera and lens you used as well as aperture (although that probably varied) if you care to share.

Mr. Barber is there every day, he is a hecka nice guy, he has the largest private lotus collection in the world, I think he has 56 cars now. The bikes on display are indeed only half of the collection, they rotate bikes in and out all the time to keep the displays fresh. Thanks for the awesome pictures!

Really glad you guys are enjoying the pics - it is truly a wonderful place.

Camera is a Nikon P7100 (point & shoot) with aperture and shutter set to stupid. I can work the dials a little, but am really pleased with quality of pics I get on auto settings with this $300 camera. Takes great vid too.

I can't wait to go back.....

Just back from some good times in Bham - man that is one sweet town with BMS, Oak Mountain and Moss Rock - purdy cool stuff. Thought I'd give these pics a 7 month bump cause I enjoyed looking at them again.
