Central MI to SWFL

Hi I will be riding from central MI to SW FL via deals gap next week on my R1200GS, looking for some route advice for good riding roads & must see points along the way. Any advice / suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

Deal's Gap to Murphy, then US 19/129 to Dahlonega, GA is a surprisingly enjoyable road. If you have time you can spend an age riding wildly interesting roads in North Georgia. if not you can grit your teeth and take US 19 from Dahlonega to Atlanta (it becomes a freeway into the city and connects to I-75 for the direct route to Tampa) or follow US 129 to Athens and take a slower road round Atlanta. HOV lanes in Atlanta are open to motorcycles which makes the ride quite quick.
