I know I'm a bit late reading this.
Great RR, Pezza. Tx for making the monumental effort to post it all (and to do the ride of course).
Really enjoyed it.

Cheers,

Great RR, Pezza! I'm very jealous of your bike. It looks well sorted.

It was interesting seeing you go through some of the same places as me, yet you have completely different photos with things I never even saw.

Wow !!

Haven't checked in here for a while, thought the thread would've been long lost and forgotten by now, quite the contrary, people still reading the damn thing !
Thank you all so much for your wonderfull comments, I feel privileged that you all have taken the time to post your thoughts and it also makes the effort that goes into these RR's all the more worthwhile.

Cheers
Pezza

Ahh, the wonders of road travel, I think we could travel the same road 3 times and still see things on the 3rd time that we missed on the 1st.

G'day Pezza,
Mate taht was an awesome RR. We met a few weeks ago at the Pie shop at the bottom of the range. I had the Husky 630. Both my partner and I read your RR, only problem is, she wants to come with me now! The photos and great detail you provided has assured me we are heading in the right direction next year. I'll drop you a line and catch up when i'm in Toowoomba next to pick your brains about our simpson trip next year. Maybe even try and catch up for a ride one weekend early in the new year.
Well done on the RR and was great to meet you

Have just re read this RR again after quite a few years. In preparing for an upcoming "father & son" adventure that involves taking in the Finke Desert Race, this one is still an epic and provided some very helpful information.

Hope you're still out there doing it Pez.

Great Work
