Been riding my RC again and remember why I bought the bike. She's fun as long as it's not too hot out for her.

I bought an inline 4 from a friend and while its a good bike, it just doesn't move me like my twin did (TL). Might have a look at the RC.

Had a TL1000R also and was fast on it , but compared to my RC it handled like a dumptruck.I think the TL had a little more bottom end torque , but the RC has a better squirt on top.

Sato pipes

Spotted these on ebay. I have read that these give a big HP increase to the bike (esp. the low mounts).

I don't know about BIG , but the Sato low's are supposed to give the highest peak power. Check out ROGUE.

Full Report at 11?

You do have a sweet looking ride there!

Dropped mine off Saturday at the shop to have them check a few things out in preparation of VIR at the end of the month.

What all did you do as prep?

To prep..... Remove mirrors and tag, tape headlights, signals and brake light. Check fluids, brake pads, tire tread and for my bike 29 psi front and 30 psi rear tires (much better traction). Put bike number on and adjust suspension (which I had done at the track day for $45 the last time I raced [well worth every penny]).
Great day at the track despite a few crashes (one guy ended up in the hospital unfortunately).
I was going about 90 coming out of a long corner into a fairly short straight away when one of the instructors flies past me and pops a wheelie, then disappears. Just when you think you are hot stuff, there is always someone to put you in your place.
More photos to follow soon.

I like the color. I've been thinking of rootbeer and gold with cream trim.
