Yes the rear tire was a bitch to get on and the front was easy. Han's had a dead battery too but I had a nice extra gell battery here so he was on his way. Hopefully tonight we will go for a ride together.

Showed him the salute....

Great to see the photos. Get a couple of alligator clips for that walmart compressor. I had my doubts about that original battery especially running the USB charger and the heated gloves. I changed a rear MItas on the side of the Dempster and yes it took some time and patience and dish washing soap for a tire lube.

You need some kind of tire lube for those heavy duty tires. Its all part of the adventure

Windex works great for lube for tires and evaporates so it doesn't leave any film.......

I met up with David as planned and we rode to a camping spot along the ocean... A few showers didn't spoil the day, sunset at the beach..

The day 2 weather started out perfect..

Then we had some light showers.. I had to seek shelter under a rockbluff...

And the evening of day 2 is back to perfect weather.. Tomorrow out for more...

Whenever your ferry arrives, I assume your coming from Vancouver Island.

Hi Hannes, I'll add some flavor:

"Blue Steel" or "Magnum"?

Whoever owns the bike on the right it is overloaded. You need to crank up the rear spring or shorten the side stand. It is going to fall over next wind gust hits it.
