Thats why im on a moto and not hiking
3) 5th gear pinned.. in the wrong direction
I have 6 gears
4) gps is forbidden.. no matter how tired / lost / injured / sore / cold / out of gas you are
GPS is for cheaters, unless getting somewhere without getting lost is a priority to you
5) returning at midnight (if lucky) with 200+ new miles on your odo
Not sure about the midnight part, my headlight still sucks, but 200mile is not that far considering mountain bikers just rode the entire Kokopelli trail in 13 hours

Does the guy in the above photo look like he's having fun to you?
He was having fun he said, afterwards...
Just sayin'

Last time I rode White Wash/10 mile I had to give pre-mix to one of the guys I met on the trail. I'd gone out there alone to explore and probably wouldn't have gone as far without them, so it worked out good.

Pot, meet kettle.. And yeah, the guy in the pic usually looks like that. Except when you visit him in the hospital, then he's got a blank look from the drug's.

That is so true. Thump, what are you talking about? Hows your bike or should I say bikes running? Funny

Rick. He did have an odd grin after surgery. It was from a different trip and 100miles away so It does not count.... Injuries suck.

Hey, not true. I don't think this stuff up, I just get invited along. In hindsight it would seem I have an unusually mean group of friends.

Im on top keep in mind. Who in their right mind would try to ride up such a steep face? Didn't you make it 2nd try? I on the other hand would never do something so foolish

Both of these guy's know how to trail fix a bike, and carry the goods to do so. And if they have an open invite to trail ride, like SB did, they will probably be able to push your abilities a bit unless you are a A class enduro rider, and you'll get the chance to see some new terrain.

They get it about trail riding..follow the rules:

1-have fun.
2-be safe, adventurous, but safe.
3-remember the rules.

second try was good-Missed shift on the 1st try....:(

Will ride more slick-rock today. Sorry, no pics, having too much fun to stop... we just keep riding more and more new trails. Moab Rocks!
Yeah. It was pretty fun. Enduro Loop is a great trail, I would say the best single track in the Moab area.

This is the only photo I got of 1stgear. Thankfully the landing was solid
