Well if you decide you want to sell that you let me know. I'll save you all the aggravation and trouble of rebuilding it.

I Was Driving Through Clancy the Other Day...

And saw a van with "Hoarders: Hodaka Edition" on the side of it. It looks like they were looking for a specific address.

Anybody know anything or where they ended up stopping?

All I gotta say is that there are some sick people out there...

I am riding out of great falls Saturday. I have not picked any routes but anything between here and Helena and east to monarch area is on the table?

Anyone wanna ride with a goofy guy on a slightly overbuilt KLR?

If I were in state I would. I will be going to Washington tomorrow, so that leaves me out.

I'm working all day, then headed to Hyalite Canyon to camp with the family. Sorry, come on down and explore anyway. Weather should be ok.

I don't know the area too well, but I looped 300 miles down behind kings hill and showdown, smith river road, and back up by Eden bridge. No trail, but it was a pretty damn good day.

Any pix to share with those of us that wish we could have been there. BTW, how was the weather?

I didn't stop for many pictures, but monument peak is always one of my favorite stops. I skirted around all the storms actually, it was pretty lucky.

Far out! Thx.

Not much talk by folks in my “neck of the woods” about places like Monument peak, Desolation peak, Strawberry ridge, or Deep Creek Park.

Actually, monument ridge drops into the deep creek loop. I got in over my head on that trail two summer ago. It is basically the whole smith river/deep creek area west of monarch.

Looking at the map, monument peak is directly east of desolation.

What I want to know is... Can you ride to the fire tower on desolation peak?

Haha, they are really closer to great falls. Monarch is surrounded by a huge network of trails in the Lewis and Clark national forest.

I am going to be camping at black sandy this weekend if anyone wants to hang out. No bike this go round, just four boys while mamma is doing her drill weekend.
