Magoo, things are crazy, if I show up early Saturday morning with registration cashola would you anticipate the presence of a single track guide with nothing to do and a need for recreation?

No worries, Pat---If you show up on Saturday, we'll hook you up with some of the single track gurus who can lead you on a good ride.

Plus you can stick around for the BBQ dinner and giveaway prizes Saturday nite!

...And ride Gordy's trials bike and become hopelessly addicted to climbing rocks on small motorcycles!

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

Whoa! You're the one with the extra bike now.

I may ride some single track on Friday (or maybe Thursday), but sat/sun will be trials.

Are there still plans for some DS type bike trials sections? Which day?

I'd like to make that happen. I was going to talk with AteamNM and Bruce about what we could do with the DS bikes. I was thinking Sunday AM so it wouldn't interfere with DS or ST rides, but I think Tony was thinking Sat. AM. Thoughts?

No sir, I don't think it would take much to hook me on that nasty little habit. I have never ridden one and I am about this far (picture thumb and index finger about 1/8" apart) from selling the KLR to buy one.

Saturday, no mega hang overs. 2 loops, DS split, bragging rights and ride the single track loop up the ski runs. Ride a trials on the DS bike. Leaves Saturday afternoon for a DS spin or score. Sunday is open for killer riding around Sip or watch, score or borrow a trials bike and ride Sunday's event.

Options = Happy - Happy - Happy.

So what are you thinking here? Ride the loop and run them through novice or amateur lines? We can't have them rutting out the lower class sections, can we?
Riding the loops up there is about the best ST that can get and we need to get them to try some observed sections but I'm not sure how to do that without setting some up just for DS. ear

So on Saturday is there any kind of "stock" class at the trial event for full size bikes (WR450)???. I think it would be fun to at least try a trial courses.

That is what we are working on. I believe that you will be allowed to ride the loop (which is in and around the ski area itslelf, including the slopes).
I thought that we were going to set some separate sections for full sized bikes as I don't think the NMTA will allow them into the actual sections set by the club. The lower classes are full of kids and stuff and a full sized bike would not only intimidate them but if a big bike rolled a big rock into a line, it wouldn't be good for them. We'll see, but there will be something, I'm sure.
I think a nice wet creek section with a turn would be a riot for the big bikes!

If we set about 4 sections for big bikes, they could get their fill of it IMO. They could ride them un-limitied times until they either cleaned them or gave up!!
