Recon Instruments

This is like Christmas & a Birthday for motorcyclists, all rolled into one.

Does anyone know any of the employees at Recon Instruments?
100 - 1050 Homer St.
Vancouver, BC

This is just begging for application-specific development, and it's mostly, almost there, for a motorcycle application.

The ability to have nav, speed, instruments, or even incoming call notification, delivered in a universal HUD device is very compelling.

Already audio-capable and with a little development, probably easily transferable between wear-able platforms -- glasses, goggles,.... helmet?

Nice to see this kind of technology from a local company!

I've done worth with one of their former exec's. That might not be the best reference out there

They had a booth at Whistler this winter to show off the ski goggles. Neato stuff. A little LED screen in the bottom corner of your vision, and with the Bluetooth interface and the arm cuff with the big buttons you could control your phone, your iPod, and the display really easily.
