Fifty miles of single track in the ANF yesterday, me bringing up the rear of four KTM's and the dust was incredible. Think I gonna lay off until it rains, if it ever does. The good news is, lots of the trails up in the NW were navigable since our rainy Spring.

ON ANOTHER NOTE: I have an insane desire for a <200cc mx'r, KTM preferred, but others considered. Anybody got one they'd care to part with?

Hal, I think I'm going to hit some of that stuff on the NW side today with my neighbor. Is it really sandy? He's pretty green, but learning quickly. He'll be on a DR200 so if we get into any deep sand he won't have the HP to stay on top of it. Usually all that is under water, so it may be a good time to let 'er rip.

If anyone finds a heat shield bolt, I may or may not know it's lost owner

It's an M6, and made from unobtainium

Great Ride Mike, and thanks for leading after we met up. It gave me that chance to watch Russ ride. He did a good job with so little power

I've got three times the power and it didn't do me a bit of good though

Was a lot of fun. Last weekend I can make it out for several weeks Be nice to get some semblance of rain before then. Russ hung in there; surprised none of those whooped out sand sections didn't swallow that thing whole.

Got home and neighbor across the street was working on Harley. Apparently has never heard of "silencers" or "baffles" before. Pretty sure he shook the windows.

Mine has straight pipes

He had a few "moments" but as long as hit triples are that loose he can just straighten it all back out and go again! He mentioned that climb out of the creek, and liked the rooted up section. I think he's hooked

Wish Ida got up with y'all. I'm typically at the guard shack moments after they open the gate, done by 11:00, stuffing my face at Newks before the Gawdly arrive.

It was sandy and dusty.

BTW, I can and often do go during the week, if any wanna get up a ride.

Definitely a lot of sand, yet we still managed to find water and mud.

Might take up on the weekday ride in another 2 weeks or so; only times I'll be able to sneak out.
