I have been riding with no speedo since 2004. Stumbled across this thread this morning and walaah, hammer washer flat and now I have a speedo.

dryden_rider_54 and azduster; been there, done that! Used vise jaws to flatten winged washer; fixed . . . now WHO could have mis-assembled this thing to cause such damage?

+1 on using the SEARCH function.
