I think DSM8's post is valid here by the sounds of it.

What year is your bike Gustavo.Ramos ?
2008

Unfortunatly i don't have a decent dyno operator knowledgable enough to properly work (so many expensive words in a signel sentence) on my 990, so everything is done by me.
so far i keep wht O2's on all the time and try minor changes on the fueling and see how it goes. Timeconsuming yes, but i'm learning quite a bit.

So many variables....
What were the Butterflies that you installed? I remember them being of an interesting shape (More football shaped than round)

Thanks for your input guys. I hope this thread can work in conjunction with the TuneEcu thread to help us get better running bikes.
Cheers.

Wink 2010 gpr header akra slip akra map

Hey Rossiguzzi.
I put the gpr header and akra map on mine and it sorted it pretty well.
Also got an akra slip on. Similar to what pete640 has on his 950.
You can have a go when we go for that ride

This thread lives !

I should update mine.

06, Akra map/pipes, Throttle cam 400, adjusted throttle cables, valves in spec (1 inlet was a bit tight) butterflies removed.

It runs very nice. Not perfect, but close. No poping on decel, just slight crackling. Slight jerk on initial throttle opening, tiny bit of surging at 4-5 k rpm. Almost indecernable.

I want to put on a Uni prefilter I have laying around to see if that changes anything. Might replace butterflies to see if they change things too.

Looking forward to a ride Ale-Ray.
