I love seeing the CX500 turbo's. Stilll (and always will) have my first bike, a GL500. It still drives great but needs a bit of a restore once I acquire a garage.

I'm a little disappointed that nobody has posted any pictures of a Can Am. I was so close to buying one. Still kind of regret it. But then that money went to putting me through school which now allows me to own my dream bike now.

Not my picture, but this is probably the most unusual bike I ever owned.

MZ 250 Trophy nicknamed "television"
I have owned many rare Morinis, pre-war BMWs... But whoever designed the MZ had a really bad day.

1964-ish Sears/Puch Sabre. 50cc, bought with money from my paper route in 1973. Had an unusual fan cooled shrouded 2 stroke engine.

Not my bike or picture, but identical:

Rockster is not really a rare bike, and even this Edition 80 had a production of 2004 units worldwide. I loved the Alpineweiss color complemented with white wheels. Sold it to make room for the Boxer Cup...

My current stable - Boxer Cup and a GS100, both keepers. The 2002 Gixer with 10 miles is rare but is on the chopping block to make room for a Bimota. I like it medium rare, please...

The one that might be thought of as unusual is a 1949 Sunbeam S7 Deluxe, they built thousands of them but had never seen one until getting this one.
Rarest, based on productions numbers might be the two 1968 Husqvarna's (250#26) and 360#9) two 1974 Triumph TR5T's (929 built) or 1957 Triumph Trophy (1691 built).
The Amal carburetor, INOX fender 73 GT, who knows.

I owned one of these:

Neat bike. Too bad its got that proprietary frame 'cause there's no such things as 'too much gas.'

Not sure how rare these were but my first bike was a Honda S50 Scrambler. Looked just like this one.

A couple of years later a jump folded the front forks (all 1-3/4" of travel.) and it was scrapped in favor of a Sears 106.

The right side shift took some getting used to. Every once in a while I'd go for a lower gear and get the rear brake instead, I think it was about that time that i learned to drift the wheel in dirt corners..
