Hey, we have our own thread, how about that! Me and my '07 TE250, out and about last spring. Over the summer I had my suspension lowered and revalved by LT Racing, and it rides even better now.

Planning to sell off my R1150GS and get myself one of these. All my mates are advising me not to but I just dont enjoy the GS. Riding on the GS in India is a PITA, I know the TE is no tourer but seems like will be great fun on the dirt and easier than the GS in this maddening traffic...and I get some extra cash from the GS sale to repair my W124 .

I think its a 2008, will be checking it out in a few hours. Any thing specific to look out for? I'll be doing the services on my own as no Husky dealers here.

Update - I guess its a 2007, brembo calipers, aftermarket ignition switch, '37' etched on the carb. 240 mm rear rotor. Its got amazing power and throttle response but rattles like F&$@, is that normal or I should be worried? The bike has done a genuine 3000 kms.

Howdy everyone. Looking into getting a Husky to replace the old XR.

What are the maintenance intervals for the TE250? How does it handle cruising on the highway (60-70mph max)?

Trying to decide between the 250/310 and the 610...

I've got one of each. The 250 is an awesome trail bike that just happens to be street legal. The 610 is a true dual purpose bike. I can take it on almost all of the trails that the 250 goes on if I take it easy. Once the terrain opens up the 610 is magic. The handling is very similar to the 250's. It's obviously heavier by 40 lbs or so. If you like nasty trails the 250 is better. If you have more open trails and need to be on the road you can't beat the 610.
