Tennessee and Mississippi TAT Next Week

Hello, my name is John Bowman. I live in Germantown, TN (right outside Memphis). If the weather holds out next week, I am going to ride the Tennessee and Mississippi sections of the TAT. I plan on starting from Tellico Plains early on Thursday May 30. I will hop off the trail at I-55 in Mississippi late on Saturday June 1st. According to Sam, it should take three full days.

If anyone is interested in riding along, please let me know.

myself and two friends did the same trip starting may 15 th. we had some terrible weather and most of the river crossings were flooded as well as a lot of low areas. we never detoured but crossed several
1/4 to 1/2 mile sections under 2-3 feet of water.
