Apparently Checa's shoulder issues are not getting better - he did not even start Race 2.

WOW, how dominant was Sykes

Simply fantastic performance from Sykes today (all weekend really) and really, is there a single person who doesn't like him - what a bubbly character.

Well done Tom

It kept popping out in Race 1
I guess its going to need surgery and that means a long recovery period.

Great performance by Sykes and the Kawasaki team.

Getting tight up front usually bodes well for subsequent racing.

Jonathon Green was saying that Spies set a lap record of 1:30 something in 2009. Sykes did a 1:28 flat. Damn.

The Motocard bikes (Sykes/Baz) are factory backed, the other Kawasakis, not so much. The factory has taken a much more direct role in the team sincethey terminated Paul Bird's management role. Also, Sykes has been the lead development rider on the team since the current generation of ZX-10 debuted. And yes, Sykes is fast.

And Baz is a fairly young man, he's still learning. But he's shown some serious flashes of speed though.

It's fun to watch someone really in the groove rip around Donington. Reminded me a bit of Cadalora in the 500 days.

As the commentators mentioned, bike and rider were smooth as can be. Great ride.

Awesome race weekend for Sykes. Guintoli perhaps the "best of the rest" there and looking very fast and consistant this season...with some "Aprilia" tracks coming up now.
Rea looked up for it (if not the Honda) and how much did Giugliano like it there! Laverty right there too with Melandri and others looking strong also. Shaping up into potentially a great title race.
