Carry tools for 950SE

What tools should be carried for a 950SE used as a Off-Road Adventure Bike (Mostly Off but some on road), Axle nut sizes, etc...

My SE didn't come with any sort of tool kit. I got a kit from CJ Designs. I'd give Craig a shout. He will set you up with everything that you'll need. And I put the extra tubes, voltage regulator, tools and air pump in the aluminum storage box that he sells. 👍

The 990 has more room under the seat than the SE, that giant empty bin on the ADV is where the battery sits on the SE, however you can fit a lot of stuff in the SE by stuffing it under the rear crossmember of the subframe back towards the tail light. (Unless I'm mistaken and the 990 has something in that box the 950 Adventures had under the seat.

Honestly the best kit is the complete 950 Adventure Tool kit which didn't come with the SE. With that kit you can damn near tear down the motor. KTM did good with respect to keeping common fasteners, there are very few odd sizes or unique bolts, now if only the aftermarket could do the same.

I like to use the Motion Pro Spoon/Box end combo but as my SE is not handy I need the rear axle nut sizes as well as the front axle retaining bolt. Always try to pack light.

Also thinking about the Alpina rim replacement so I can just plug instead of patching. Has anyone used the Alpina's offroad? I have them on my Aprilia SXV550 but that is Asphalt only.

27-32mm

Front is 27mm rear is 32mm, if you want to go light I can highly recommend the lightweight compact wheel spanner from the UK ktm forum. Ive used it in anger twice, really great bit of kit and one of the best spends for a tool kit IMHO and being alloy wont screw your nuts!

If you don't want to sign up I am happy to ask him if he will ship to you.

Found he has them on flebay and ships international
