I have helmet speakers for sale.
Last March my husband put me on a search to find an ear peice that would plug into his mp3 player. You know like the those ear buds that people use when they talk on the cell phone. It was a real pain in the ass (excuse me I mean ear) to find one the fit under his helmet. Steve rides his bike to work each day. Its a 45 minute commute from Modesto to Livermore, CA. He likes listening to more than the sound of his bike.
You notice I'm talkin about his bike. Steve is in the process of building me a trike. I can feel the freedom. I wonder if sweet twisties will be just as cool on my trike? Ok I'm stretching things a little my ole man's VFR will always be sweeter on the twisties than my trike will. Anyways now I am raising money for my trike. So Steve goes and gets me a couple hundred helmet speakers. They are in the living room. I use a wheelchair to get around, but I rather get around in a trike. "Here." He says, "Sell these so we can afford to build this trike." Okay, here I go...I have helmet speakers for sale. $19.95 free shipping in the US. They are small, soft, and comfortabe in your helmet. They sound good too. If your interested send me an email or visit my website. http://helmetspeakers.741.com You can try my website link again. My internet provider is experiencing ups and downs right now. Sometimes workie workie and sometimes no workie. lol Also, special thanks to everyones participation ...I now have a 2005 Ural Tourist and have been enjoying it quite a bit this Spring and Summer. Compatability
So far they work with music devices..cd players, radios, and the like. We are looking into adapters for other devices like cell phones and two way radios. If you tell me what you are currently using I'll see if it is compatable or if there is an adapter for it.

Side cars are fun...
We have parts to make a trike. We have a drawing board. We have been scratching our heads with some local builders. This trike will take time and more money than helmet speakers can buy. So I can get out on the road this summer we're looking to buy a Ural Tourist. We have a Ural dealer here in Modesto. I cant wait to go riding with the big dogs!

I would also like to hear some reviews before I drop the $$$ I currently have a set of Challengers, but find them annoying after a few hours. I would like to have something I can use all day in comfort. Sound quality is also important and the Challengers will be hard to beat.
Best way to really get these things moving is to pass out a few freebies to people willing to give them a workout and review. Seems like it has worked in the past.

I'd also like to know how it works with an iPod. I have the Pocket Amp to give me more volume, but I need a helmet speaker that can play loud enough not to distort, and still be audible while I'm wearing ear plugs. I know that sounds crazy, but I can't wear those molded in the ear monitors for too long and I've tried just about everything, including the Autocom. Once I put filtering ear plugs, to save myself from hearing damage, the music is barely audible..
If anyone buys these speakers, please post your impressions, and maybe you can give them a try with ear plugs in.

Speakers = Amp
I bought a pair to use with my XM radio. You can barely hear the music with the volume turned up full. I went back to the ear buds until I can find an amp to drive the speakers.
