I, myself, have run the Royal Purple 75/140 in the transmission, final drive, and driveshaft of my /5 for the past 58,000 miles......In the WINTER, I am very careful of WARMING THE TRANSMISSION before any "rapid" shifting.
Other's may have different results.
Also, it does NOT seep or leak.

I have had good shifting with redline in the gearbox. Never had it in the final drvie.

The royal purple 75/140 is too thick for a final drive. I noticed a noise while coming down an on ramp, seeing as how I just changed the fluids, I reached down, could barely touch it, hot! The 75/140 came out, 75/90 in.
