personally I've been to southwick 2 years running and will go to the next one which is in just a few weeks but it is the most god awful track to spectate I've ever seen and the goddam fences make it even worse to try to point a lens at anything. hard to pass up as it's actually closer than unadilla for me but I'm not losing any sleep over it..
I heard the same news. There has been some talk about NHMS in Loudon NH building a MX track to host a National.I have skipped the Southwick National a few times because it is such a poor track to spectate, but there have been some epic races there. It was a tuff track to spectate even in the early 80's when the crowds were small.
I'm glad I finally got to Steel City before that went away. That was a great track to spectate. I never went to Binghamton, NY , and I heard they sold their date years ago for 1 million or so. So there must be some money in holding a race...

It sucks major ass that Southwick will be no more , It is the only track on the circuit that the local boys can show up to and actually run far enough up in the pack to get some TV time.

Another classic track gone from the circuit that will probably be replaced with some bullshit track that is built on a flat piece of land. A big SX track is not MX.

The TV format is just ridiculous. Who would accept the first half of a football game on one channel, and the second half on another? Both of which are on different cable TV plans, not on basic cable?

I don't mind online watching, but you can't visit Allisports without seeing a ton of spoilers. The title of every video is a spoiler - "250 Moto 1 Recap - Ken Roczen Back On Top" etc. Totally takes the thrill out of watching a race.

Even the archive page with full motos has spoilers in headlines off to the right. Every single race is spoiled by a headline!

Imagine going to Netflix and having the choices titled: "Star Wars - Vader is Luke's Father".

I don't even bother. Munn racing posts the results by moto and overall on Facebook and that's enough for me. I'd like to see it but I don't have the time or energy to go searching for it.

SX is light years ahead in packaging the sport but in MX's defence there may not be the $$$/market available to do what SX does to put the product on your plate.

Having said that. Dungey!

I think they said 2nd and 3rd would both get flintlocks. Also, I wonder if RD is as big on guns as RV is?

250's

Musquin with a 2-2 for the overall.

Tomac and Roczen both with moto wins and a 4th. Conspiracy!

Blake Wharton sneaking into the top 10 with a 9th.

Davalos with a solid 11th. Why is he on a pro circuit bike again?

Justin Bogle moving up each week with a 7th overall. Once you've seen that kid whip the skyshot you'll forever be a fan trust me.

Dakota Kessler, Mickey's son 34th overall.

15 of 40 250's on Honda's.

How the heck did Crosley Radio ever get involved in sponsoring a MX racer?

Cole Seely seems to do better @ SX than MX by a wide margin.

So there are 2 Martins from Millville on the 250's, assume they are brothers, and they finish 15 and 16th overall.

Blake Baggett's 3-3 only good enough for 4th overall.

Zach Osborne 5th overall, isn't he the one who came off the bike at the Dallas SX and careened down the track like a rag doll?

Some good racing, the 250's sure deliver some action and are fun to watch.

so...when you see pictures of RV and Dungey and their Fox and Thor jerseys with the big Red Bull and Monster logo's on them, are they just run of the mill iron on's, and where do you get those?
