And yet... Dani's bike was very twitchy and unstable on the brakes, while Marquez's was stable and could hold a tighter line on corner entry. Marquez might have copied Dani's settings, but it seems the setup was further refined from that starting point.

He's young, but a quick learner. He knows he should have taken the points, I'm sure.
So, I know it's a bit off track, but I have to share this. On the way home through the Dolomites I found the mythical village......and it's Bellisimo!

But alas!

That is a pisser! If anything will get Stoner back, pasting 93 over the top of 27 might just do it!

Oh mate.... but so do I....

MADLY! for all sorts of reasons....
Didn't take my big camera gear for this ride, no access, and that's what the pro's get paid for etc...
But yeah, I just love to be there. And let me tell you this; If I were to ride at home in OZ, like I ride when I'm in Italia, I would quickly be Tasered, and my bike crushed....LUV IT

I went to Mugello in 2006... those campground areas really seemed like the place to be! Unfortunately I had booked a rathole of a hotel about 35 kms from the track, so only saw what was going on in the daytime, I can imagine it only gets wilder as the sun goes down....

I just love Italy, been there at least 20 times.
