I know I've already mentioned this but if you need a place to park your truck in St. George you're more than welcome to park it at my house. We have plenty of room

Thanks a lot. I've actually been looking into getting a storage unit for the month. Not crazy about leaving the truck and some of our things baking in the summer sun for 3 weeks.

I'll definitely be following this adventure as I have read the other one only a couple of months ago.

I've been looking to go around the Gaspé Peninsula and go through New Brunswick the way you went along part 1 of your trip. Taking it easy, reasonable kilometers and enjoying my stays at the different restaurants and motels/hotels. Reading your ride report gave me more confidence on leaving on such a trip with my sport bike which is somewhat comparable with your Streetfighter and Monster.

Ride safe and i'll be looking for some updates on this trip that truly looks like a memorable one.

You are going to have a great trip

My wife and I did a 2,800 mile loop from Central California to Southern Utah, Colorado, Wy, South Dakota, Idaho and Nevada. This was our first long road trip together and I wasn't sure if she would like it or not so we took the car so I could see what she likes.

She had a blast and especially liked all of highway12, Kiva Koffee House, Bryce Canyon NP, Mount Rushmore and Ten Sleep, WY in the Big Horns. Heard about The Big Horn Mountains from a couple of adventure riders we met in Tropic, UT. I added it to my list based on their recommendations.

Kiva Koffee House:

Where you will be staying at Kiva Koffee House and your view. Called ahead to get a reservation but they were sold out:

Sorry I haven't really had time to post. We started our trip as scheduled, but with a bit of a twist. The original plan was to haul the bikes in the back of the truck to St George, Utah. But, we recently added an Airstream travel trailer to the stable and decided to do a portion of our trip with it (and the bikes). I'll give a full update soon, but for now, here's an idea of what we've encountered:

That's the way to travel

Ya. That is a great way to travel and experience the best of all worlds. You are going to have a great trip.

If you jack knife you truck and trailer just right, you might be able to unload your bikes without unhooking the trailer. I have done it with my Tundra Double Cab (I think the bed of my truck might be longer than yours) pulling a horse trailer but it wouldn't be worth it if there is any chance of dropping those beautiful bikes.

Good luck and have fun. Let us all know if you start a new thread.

+2 on the Airstream. I've got kind of the same set up, just bigger, and not as nice pair of bikes!

I think the Airstream should get an off road suspension, especially if you are going to be pulling it with the Raptor…

You guys are probably too busy riding to update. Hope you are having a great time!!
