Thumb Dr. Who

I see the Tardis is there. I guess the Dr. would be a TT fan, wouldn't he?

We are getting towards the end of the trip now. The weather has been epic. Today was a non race today so we did a bit of sight seeing, and I escaped for a bit of trail riding in the evening. I just had the best 2 hours on a bike I could imagine. There are a couple of pics below, but the gopro clips will probably have to wait until I get home.

The ferry coming into Douglas Harbour.

We then climbed to the islands highest point.

The tram goes up there, but we did it on foot.

This pic from the top of Snaefell shows some trails in the distance.

I then went out on the bike and took a pic of Snaefell from the trails, clever eh!

Stopped off in the pits for the obligatory gasoline alley pic.

If I get a chance later I will try to sort out the many short phone clips I have uploaded to Youtube, with some sort of explanations as to what they are about.

Tomorrow is the big one, the Senior TT, the weather looks great.

Back home now. We kind of lost yesterday due to an overnight ferry, sleep, and grocery shopping.

I am still trying to upload gopro trail riding video, last nights attempt failed. Hopefully I'll have some more tonight, but here are a couple of videos I did manage to upload so far. They are not very exciting but I enjoyed doing it.

A ride through Glen Helen

Two parts of the Millenium Way from St Lukes to the Brandywell.

More pics and videos hopefully later.

Thank you for your effort bringing the videos and pic's. Keeps me in touch with the races and the beautiful scenery.

This is my last gopro clip from trail riding on Thursday night.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgpaVTv0taU

it is a trail which you get to up the road near the Ginger Hall hotel, and brings you out at the Mountain Box on the TT Circuit. Normally I don't like doing these on my own, but the weather was so dry I decided to chance it anyway.

Pictures from the sidecar parade lap and Superbike race restart.

Thats it really, all over for another year, ferry already booked for 2014. I am heading back to the Manx GP in August for 10 days, and will probably do a similar thread if anyone is interested.

Cheers (pic from my last meal on the island)
