Actually, TWO of those pix are Borgward Isabellas, a coupe and a combi:

And as long as we're on the rather esoteric subject of Borgwards and Studebakers, I think an Isabella coupe like this would look great parked in the garage next to my 55 Champion coupe. Am I right?

Everything I've ever read about Borgwards said they were very well built cars, and magazine reviews of the period always lavished praise on them. I've seen dozens show up on the internet here and there, but have never seen one in the flesh.

Always wanted a early 50's Studebaker and used to ride to work in a top of the line Studebaker Hawk...had another name but can't recall at this moment. Oh yes a Golden Hawk and was in 1967

When I was a little kid, my neighbor was big time Studebaker guy. He had 3 Avanti's, a Wagonaire (daily driver) and a Studebaker Commander...this was my favorite car. I loved the way it looked and would like to own one someday.

From 1946 to 1948, the Curtiss-Wright airplane engine manufacturer produced trailer coaches. After reshaping the front and rear Plexiglas windows in 1950, front and rear glass windows that actually opened became an option in late 1953. (In 1957 Pat Patterson left Silver Streak, and along with dealer Harry Lovett, formed the Streamline Trailer Co.)

Most of the trailers live along the Turquoise Trail. He claims to be interested in selling them but during the time I worked for him I never saw him let loose of anything.
