Black Sea - The Adventure in Caucasus

Hi everyone,

Me and my mates will be traveling to Caucasus. The route is planned from Poland through Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Ukraine - A loop around Black Sea.

We will cover 5000 miles ( 8000 km) in four weeks.
Rough camping, low budget diet, no GPS and loads of adventures :)

We especially are looking forward to visit in Caucasus and hope to pop in to Chechnya and (fingers crossed) climb on mount Elbrus - if time/situation permits.

We depart in two weeks from now (21 Jun). 4 x Honda Transalp and KTM 640 Enduro, wide range of riding experience. As always we have different ideas about luggage. I believe we cover all the options from soft bags to aluminium panniers.

Bikes are almost ready, last time adjustments will happen very likely;)

"Lightweight corner"

"Hard panniers representative"

"Crashbars are not safe enough, bubble wrap is the way to go!"
