Hey, if Rossi goes to WSC, that'll resurrect the sport bike market!

It's dead; a friend of mine, 15-years no claims on litre bikes, just got refused insurance for a GSXR-1000.

He's 50 years old.

If (and I think it's a big if) Dorna wants sbk to succeed, then having Rossi, Hayden, and Edwards jump in that pool would mean good viewership for sponsors.

It's shrinking. But it's still there.

My prediction:

1st- Someone
2nd- Someone else
3rd- Someone else again
- Everybody else

Yeah, I know, lame!

Trying to pick a podium is like trying to fly without wings.

After the last 5-6 years all I want is for some close racing, is that too much to ask for.

5 races in, there have been 15 podium spots available, and the three Spaniards, who occupy the top of the points table, have also occupied 12 of those 15 podiums, each one of them has been out of the podium just once. I would not expect them to do any worse at their home round (the second one, of four).

I do hope Rossi gives it all he´s got to keep one of them out of the podium, though. But looks like Crutchlow is more capable of doing that right now.

I guess my expectations are pretty low nowadays; all I want is for them to get through the first lap intact. In that regard, Mugello sucked; OTOH, the guys who fell weren't contenders for the WC.
