I was debating on posting this in this thread, but I said what the hell, I could care less. I was called "racist" for making comments about Quebec laws about tires and driving abilities IN THIS THREAD, and the many " thumbs up", so I am posting. As someone else posted, being Quebecois is not a race. I was even called out by someone NOT BORN in this country, of course I could care less, being the son of an Immigrant myself. I am also a big soccer fan and player, and the OBVIOUS racist attempt by the PQ to support the ban on Turbans by the Quebec Soccer Federation is an example of the flagrant disregard for law by the PQ, especially concerning non-native Québécois.

Please carry on with the regular discussion, I welcome the debate if people want to continue.

Please feel free to PM me with your comments on the systemic racism exhibited by the Quebec Gov, or post here.

" I could care less". This indicates that you actually do care but the extent of your concern with the matter cannot be determined from your statement. It is a qualitative statement, not a quantitative one. I think what you meant to say was - "I could NOT care less". This would tell your readers that the matter means very little to you, personally, to the point of being insignificant. But your original assertion does not convey this idea.

My Brown? Were you my OAC English teacher?

I could "care less" what people think about the post, is what I meant, so if that was not clear, my apologies.....and the MANY PMs I have already received were a pleasant surprise. Ottawa is a safe town and people here do not like to upset the apple cart. I grew up in TO where most of my friends were Italian, Philippino, Jamaican, Korean etc, so the non-francophone bias I encountered when I moved to Ottawa was quite shocking to me. Not much has changed since 1989.

wow fixing his inglish.. good work!

No english fixes allowed..and keep the soccer turban and grammar corrections out of our ... usless local bike thread!

If you want to talk about your bike or you with a turban riding your bike speaking french while passing Jane and Finch and picking up a soccer team of jamicans in the side car ... that would fit here just fine..!

lol ... i had to ... im sorry!

ROTFLMAO

Don't say you're sorry - this really is not the place for politics, as others have said.

D'accord?

Does anyone have a spare valve cover bolt for a 2005 R1200GS they would like to sell? I'll even throw in some beer to sweeten the deal! PM me to arrange pickup.

Have you asked at Premier Cycle? Dan or Jesse can likely fix you up. Or OGTC.

Heading to RR13 and need a replacement base for the buckle on a Tech 3 boot, anyone have a spare they'd be willing to part with?
