It's the winter solstice. Farmers have know about it for thousands of years. It's also known as the start of winter.

Friends, I had a friend of mine meet the sausage creature around 4am this morning.

I just want to say if you have a friend or know someone who is wanting to get a bike and get into riding, don't let them buy a crotch rocket for their first. I can't help but think I could have instilled more doubt and caution, even though such thoughts are futile now.

Ever have a friend you rarely spoke to but when you saw them it was as if you were old buddy's? I met a racer back in 2007 and would only see him about 3-5 times a year but it was if we were friends since school. Just found out he passed away today from a surgical procedure. Damn this sucks. See ya at the finish line friend.

Here we were in Valdosta at a race. This was in June and he'd just won the Gators back in March of that year. He's in the red hat.

That Impala was a factory 427 car. Still wearing its original paint and green interior. Campaigned with a 283 while the big block was tucked safely away.

This thread needs some positive. At 7:55 my wife gave birth to Grace, our first child together. 6lbs 12oz, Mom and baby are doing great.

Good news--congratulations!

Grace, a beautiful name for a beautiful baby.

Fantastic song. I reckon it'd take on a whole new meaning with the arrival of that little girl into your lives.
