Thought I'd go a little silly on an old CT90 , planning on taking it to the salt flats next march. Aiming for 100 mph on something that still looks like a postie (subject to some rules) Motor should top out at around 25 hp 200cc.

Bit of a work in progress atm

Ct90 piston beside Xr200 piston

CT90 crank and XR200 crank before mods

Now the XR200 crank will sort of fit

CT90 cases adjusted slightly to fit modded XR200 crank

CT90 barrel bored a little to far, for

A slightly modded XR200 barrel.

Adjusted valve angle

xr200 valve at new 20 deg angle in ct90 head , means I need to make up custom valve seats and all kinds of other bits n pieces.

Cool
Not much left in barrel
You can jam a 61mm sleeve in the 90 barrel and it has some meat left.
Good luck

Xr200 barrel is 65.5 mm inside dia , this jigger is being built to go real fast for a short period (land speed racer on the salt) , but I hope to manage to ride it as much as possable.

Wow that looks really interesting. Make sure you are fully up to speed with the rules for the DLRA including the leathers etc you need to wear. I'd love to race one year.

Led lights ,is 60 degree angel end flood 4x3w(abaut 1A) leds, the lengthwise 50m and widthwise40m.it can be said that, the one Led lights is better than the original front light.but my plan is to install two. Thus it is necessary to modify the electrical system, since the original generator output is 84w (7A)total.However ,turn signal end back lights
consume a lot of electricity relative,I change they to the ,low power led lights end turn signal relay must to change do!

Was planning roller rockers to complament the high lift very long duration cam, looking at around 10mm lift 300 deg duration 120 deg overlap with 30mm inlet and exaust valves. (Same size valves because I'm planning on running a big hit of NOS on the salt) But no matter how I hack at heads/billet T7 Ali I can't get the roller rockers to fit/be strong enough to survive 11,000 rpm for long runs and be as light as the stock units. So now I'm looking at modding the stock rockers with only needle bearings on the piviot. And moving the valve actuator/adjuster bolt inwards to suit the new altered valve position.

If I can screw 25 hp out of the motor NA then I'll try and shove another 15hp of NOS/fuel into her for the salt runs. 40 hp should get the old girl with my fat ass up to somewhere in the region of 170 kph give or take a few. I want to crack the real ton (100mph) on her.

From data I've scratched up on drag for the bike shape etc 25 hp with a good rider position should be good for 100mph just (head up riding standard position 25hp only good for 150 kph) . So 40 hp would be nice as insurance to get over the ton.

Nice lights

They look great, been thinking along the same lines for my bike. Are you using any sort of a relay?

There are two ways, fristly opportunity is to use relay (5-10A) .The idea is that you take relay contral power from front lighte ,

which in turn passes to the exstra light switch end
can only be used ,with the engine running do
avoid batery draining.

However the exstra Led lights 2x10W ,consume only 2A power you can use only switch without relay and, of course, fuse between lights end batary
Anyway do my frend posti bike, we plane to install 2x5w Led lihts end
apparently do not need modifay turn lights.

Thanks for the information. Looking forward to reading about your trip. When do you plane to start?
