Need some help with klr tank

Hi guy i bourght a aribs plastic tank for my klr 650 now stupid question how do i conect it up as it hasent got the breather vacuum hose question 2 my mate got a steel tank of ebay and it has some rust in it what can be done to fix this thanks rob

i just fitted a safari tank & just srewed a bolt into the vac hose to block it off

use white vinegar in the steal tank ...let it sit for a few days rinse well

I have a brand new, never had fuel in it, black tank for an '07 KLR650 in the shed I'm going to sell, bought it to go on an old '87 I owned then sold the bike without ever fitting the new tank.

Tanks basically haven't changed on them.
