Become one with the basecamp software. It really is very good. That is if yer buying a Garmin. You prolly are.

If you want to guide yerself on the TWAT, being able to load tracks on to the GPS will likely be important to you.

All answers are in the making tracks forum. Have fun, despite early misgivings about them, I have found that GPS devices, when properly used and understood, really can maximise the fun of a ride.

Make sure you get one that can store lots of waypoints, 'cos there are lots of pie shoppes.

In! Also, Prop & I are working on an all-Bonnie ride to the Delta Diner, date TBD.

What kind of farkles do you have planned? In case you're thinking of a Dart flyscreen, I have one you are welcome to try.

I was just thinking about that, just now. I think on sunday I will finally give the Bonnie a wash and put the battery in it. I haven't ridden it yet this year.

They are supposed to be quite good. If I was getting a new one, that would likely be the one I would get.

Some good info in this thread:

Handsome ride Jack Jack!
Dart flyscreen is good kit.
Spencer seat workover is also a good investment.
