It looked like Lorenzo was working on the soft as a race tire option. Or maybe not.

Still, I think Rossi and crew were pretty desperate to come up with a set up that will work in QP. It will be interesting to see how that translates tomorrow afternoon.

Emmet and Harris were also talking about Rossi's race set up being balanced to come good in the second half of the race, a la Qatar.

I think we might see more bumping and banging between Rossi and Bautista as Alvaro has pretty decent pace at Catalunya.

Hopefully, but I think we might see Bautista being verrrry careful this round

My point exactly. MGP fans calling for Rossi's departure at the end of this year should be careful what they wish for.

I hope we won't see more "I don't see where I'm going, but I go anyway" type of maneuvers this time. They were lucky to walk away from it two weeks ago.

Rossi, MM and Crutchlow are the ones that can really make this race interesting for me.

Things I would like to see: a Rossi podium, a Crutchlow podium, a Marquez victory, Lorenzo close the gap to DP, a Ducati near the front even if it's only for a couple of laps.

After the last session, it looks like the fastest and most consistent is Vale and Dani. Knocking of 42's lap after lap after lap.

It's only FP, but who put the fire ants in Nicky's shorts? 2nd behind MM???

Too bad the Duc's tires will never last for race distance

Aoyama crashed this morning and got hurt in one hand. He's being operated today en Barcelona.

The team found itself before FP4 at the home GP without its rider, a problem with the sponsors there.

Javier del Amor, a veteran rider of the CEV (spanish championship), who had went to the race as a tourist was called by the team manager.

-You said you were comming to see the race, right?
-Yes I am here, can you see me waving in the stand?
-No I don't, but you come here to the box ASAP, OK?
-we have a good view from here, can I come after the FP?
-NO, you come now. You want to ride our bike at FP4? You want.
-

Basically how it went (he was not in the stand but hanging around in boxes, he might have even crossed path by chance with the manager as Aoyama was put in the ambulance).

And next to Bautista, Hayden in 5th, on the Duc. Oh, the irony.

Just as well Dovi had a bad day.

Petrobot is smokin! If his race pace is anything like QP his only problem will be in getting through the lapped back markers.
